For starters, post here what you believe we should concentrate on for Session 3 with regards to 3.2, Symbolize it, & 3.3, Fitting Lines, in our materials. If you can complete all of the questions there, please post "I'm confident regarding the big ideas of these sections" rather than not posting anything at all. I need to have your response by Tuesday, 3pm. Please make sure you truly understand the material as you will be assessed on the ideas in these sections!
Don't be shy!
I'm still confident regarding the big ideas of these sections (Dan)
I'm confident regarding the big ideas of these sections -Kim-
Im confident regarding the big ideas of these sections (Sarah)
I'm confident regarding the big ideas of these sections (Cora)
I'm confident regarding the big ideas of these sections (Ann)
I'm 85% confident; question some of my answers (Bethany) Let me know which questions so we can focus on those!
I'm confident regarding the big ideas of these sections (Val)
I'm confident regarding the big ideas of these sections (Melissa
After looking at the material more closely I am in need of a refresher in the linear regression part as well. I'm going to go back through the investigations and try some more in the mean time. Also, I need some more work on the calculator. It has been a little while and I am rusty.(Melissa)
Seem to be about 50% confident. My requests: 3.2 #4a (check my units), #5 (again, to check), summary point (d) p. 160 using NOW-NEXT 3.3 Need general help here. Maybe a quick overview in class and it will all click? And, my calculator and I are not getting along when I try to do part 5 (p. 165), which then means I'm not sure about the linear regression part. If I'm the only one "not confident" I'll set up time outside of class to work on this.(Bettina)
What I need a resfresher on was determining when given lines are linear(I think I know, but I need confirmation), drawing a line to fit a set of points (when they don't line up exactly), and using a calculator to make a list or compute linear functions.(Teresa)
I put thought that I was confident for 3.2, semi-confident for 3.3. (Cindy)
